Emergency Treatment Of Diesel Engine Cylinder

The cylinder phenomenon refers to the damage caused by the interaction between the piston components of the diesel engine and the cylinder liner. Depending on the degree of damage, these scratches, burns and bites are often called scratches, pulls and bitches.

The cylinder between piston ring and cylinder liner usually occurs at the beginning of the operation of the diesel engine. 

Once the grinding is finished, it will almost never happen again.

The piston skirt and the cylinder sleeve are usually after the grinding period and after a steady operation for thousands of hours.

One, causes the cylinder

1. Poor lubrication of cylinder, poor lubricating quality, failure of lubricator or oil filling system.

2. Prolonged overload or uneven load, which overheats some cylinders and pistons.

3. Improper cooling. The cooling water temperature is too high or too low.

4. The moving parts are bad for the middle and cause partial grinding.

Second, the sign of the cylinder

1. The outlet temperature of piston cooling liquid is obviously increased.

2. The sound of friction between piston and cylinder can be heard.

3. The crankcase and scavenging air temperature rise, and sometimes smoke comes out.

4. In severe cases, the speed of the rotation has decreased significantly and even stopped on its own.

Iii. Emergency treatment

1. When the cylinder sign is found, it should reduce the oil speed immediately.

2. Use special tools to stop the cylinder of the accident.

3. Use a hand-operated cylinder lubricator to strengthen the lubrication of the cylinder.

4. Open the cylinder indicator valve and release the pressure inside the cylinder.

5. Strengthen the cooling of piston.
